Jarlsberg, Pear & Avocado Chopped Spring Salad
1 package Romaine Salad Blend (or any variety)
15-ounce can pear halves, drained and chopped
1 ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and chopped
1 cup chopped fresh OR frozen (thawed) asparagus, lightly
steamed if desired
1 cup (4 ounces) diced Jarlsberg cheese
1/2 cup diced red onion
1/3 cup bottled balsamic vinaigrette dressing
In large serving bowl toss together salad blend, pears, avocado, asparagus, cheese and onion.
Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat evenly. Serves 4.
