We’re celebrating Jarlsberg Lite this month with a special offer for beautiful note cards from lisa.orgler.design. Lisa is one of our favorite artists and bloggers, a creative tour-de-force whose whimsical illustrations are both lighthearted and mouth-watering! Read on for information on how you can receive a free set of note cards from her newest series: The Jarlsberg Project Notecard Set. And don’t forget to comment on our 101 Ways to Lighten Up with Jarlsberg Lite on Facebook for your free Toastabag!

Lisa Orgler began the year 2009 with a somewhat unusual resolution: paint a new image of food daily. She launched her blog, The Lunch Box Project on January 1st of that year as a way to chronicle her journey toward this goal of adding 365 new images to her collection.

With a background in landscape architecture, Lisa has always loved to draw. But it wasn’t until she was home on maternity leave with her first child that the itch to turn her drawings into something more really took hold. First she challenged herself by taking a deck of playing cards and painting each one a solid color, to create her canvas. Then she worked in ink to create quick illustrations that began to feed her creative side.

As an avid gardener, plants were her first subject. However, Lisa quickly realized that “you can’t research a new plant everyday,” (in order to get all the details correct in her drawings). So she moved to food, where she could let her whimsical side take over.

The result is a fun and appetizing collection of food art that she still chronicles on The Lunch Box Project. Along the way she also opened an Etsy shop where she sells her art in the form of postcards, notecards, prints, and stickers.

And now, for that Special Offer…

Jarlsberg has teamed up with Lisa in the past to offer delicious Cheese Love Notes from her Etsy shop, and we’re doing it again! Visit Lisa’s shop and check out her beautiful images. Then, for every order of notecards placed (any of her sets valued at $14.50 or higher), Jarlsberg will also send you a set of Lisa’s newest Jarlsberg notecards which include her adorable illustration for Jarlsberg Lite (featured above). Each card also includes a recipe or cooking tip, straight from Jarlsberg. Simply use the term “JUSA” in the comments on her Etsy page when you order. Quantities are limited to the first 25 orders placed, so don’t delay! (One free set of Jarlsberg note cards per order.)

And remember our other Special Offer…

A free Toastabag for every comment on our Facebook page as we challenge our friends to come up with “101 Ways to Lighten Up with Jarlsberg Lite.”
